Roberto Seba from Brazil has won the role of Time Out’s Lifestyle Photographer as part of the ‘Best Jobs in the World’ competition. As the successful applicant, Roberto will snap the best that Melbourne has to offer for a six month period commencing September.
As the Lifestyle Photographer for Time Out Melbourne, Roberto will experience, interpret and write about Victoria’s hidden secrets and new trends, creating city and regional Victoria photo shoots and encountering local identities, designers and artists.
Nick Dent, Group Editor, Time Out Australia, said Time Out Melbourne was delighted to be partnering with Tourism Victoria to offer a talented young photojournalist the chance to discover Melbourne and Victoria.
“There’s no other city like Melbourne where so much is happening on every night of the week. Time Out is all about the thrill of discovery and we’re excited to offer someone as talented as Roberto the chance to be a part of that,” Nick said.
Roberto has worked with Lonely Planet magazine, Proxima Viagem, Top Destinos and Global Rural. He graduated with a degree in Advertising from Centro Universitario Vila Velha. Roberto is also an accomplished filmmaker and has had work featured at The Berlin Film Festival and The Saveur Video Festival.
The opportunity has been the result of a close collaboration between Time Out Australia, Tourism Victoria and Tourism Australia and consolidates Time Out’s position as a leading content marketing provider for the travel sector.
